Primitive, but beautiful campground under new ownership. Very nice people doing a great job making this campground a good destination for exploring the area. It is in a very good location for exploring Stowe, Shelburne, and Burlington with awesome restaurants, shops, winery, distilleries...so much to do while taking in the beautiful Vermont scenery.

Delightful 2 day stay with Gary and Joanne. Close to the places we wanted to see. October stay so the pool was closed. They are working very hard on updating the facilities. If we are ever back in Vermont, we will stay there again.

Upon arriving at the campground we were told that if you want to get into camping at campgrounds you need to do a lot of work on the outside of your trailer because a lot of places won't let you stay when your trailer looks like that. It's all about the memories people take away and if someone was across from you it could give them a bad experience, you can stay one night but you cant stay here longer than that. They asked if our camper was even registered looking for a reason to turn us away, they even said at first that we didn't have a reservation and "found it" when we said we paid ahead of time. Needless to say we felt very unwelcome and that it was not a family friendly place. The campground was not fancy to begin with, very basic lots off the side of a busy road. We have a tag along camper that is in good shape, some people can not afford the best newest camper and should still be able to enjoy camping like anyone else!

Excellent campground, under new ownership now. Gary and Joanne are making progress every week with improvements . Some not seen, because they are directly related to the infrastructure.. but still improvements. I have been going there for years, hold Airstream rallies there, both vintage and new Airstreams, and will continue to do so.. I just spent another relaxing weekend there! 7/15-7/16/2017.. great place.

Loved it we stayed there for a week in July. Would have given 5 stars but the phone service was non existent. The owners were wonderful and lots of improvements being done, would definitely stay again I just needed cell service because of my job (traveling nurse).
